As we continue our journey into Kentucky we head over to Louisville and make a stop at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. As we arrive you will see a 120 foot baseball bat at the entrance which is an exact scale replica of Babe Ruth’s 34 inch Louisville Slugger bat. With over 132 years of making baseball bats and producing some 1.8 million bats every year you will enjoy visiting the museum and factory where you will see how the bats are actually made. Forbes calls this one of the best sports museums in the world. From the forest to the field you will follow the timber that’s turned into hard hitting history. After our time at the museum and factory we will head east to the capital city of Kentucky – Frankfort, where we will spend the next three nights.
